The River Chasm

The river, which has humble beginnings on the Northern Border swells here and increases speed to something powerful and even majestic, pooling in enourmous ponds which shrink and swell with the seasons, it is the birthplace of hippos, birds, crocodiles, fish and many other animals that give the Pridelands life.

It 'ends' in a series of small but dangerous waterfalls and the sheer cliffs peek down at their vicious splashing from a safe distance. From there it trickles into a small stream.
