The Outlands

Past a crocodile-infested river, the Outlands have always been just as there name suggests "out". An area almost completely devoid of prey types sufficient to sustain a pride, it is usually vacant except for small pairs of rouge lions, outcasts and refugees from beyond the mountain.

Mufasa was strict but not cruel when it came to dealing with these "Outsiders", but King Scar has made it clear that whoever sets a paw in the Pridelands is never taking another step.

Since the out-lawing, the number of rouges congregating in the endless number of termite hills has actually swelled.
