Below are the guidelines of the game, please read these thoroughly before registering, hidden midst the text is a password for your first character biography.
- Please show respect for other members of the RPG at all times, no matter what.
- This site is rated PG-13 [so, to comply with Proboards TOS, all members must be 13 or older to the staff's knowledge], mild violence and in character swearing are allowed but any behavior escalating above that level will result in a warning, then immediate expulsion from the RPG.
- Please post in third person.
- Please list the names, species and ages of each character you have in your signature.
- Do not post anywhere in the RP boards until your biography is accepted.
- No god-moding [playing all powerful, unbeatable perfect characters] or powerplaying [controlling other people's characters besides your own].
Acceptable: Zira took a swipe at a Nala's ear, hoping to score it with her outstretched claws.
Unacceptable: Zira swiped at Nala's ear and ripped it off, laughing manically. - The minimum posting requirement is two paragraphs (three to five sentences each).
- Please proofread your RP posts before posting them, mind your grammar and punctuation. Everyone makes mistakes, but we're aiming for legibility here.(and no chatspeak)
- Please remain canon to the Lion King universe and setting, this includes
- Using 'natural' pelt colors (earth tones: yellows, goldens, browns, whites, grays, tans ect.) and character designs

....A fair amount of creativity and deviation from the natural world (as much as the movies) will be allowed, but please refrain from pink and purple lionesses or lion mutants with horns and sparkle-princess powers.
- Having a certain amount of weariness or respect toward the rulers at the time (Scar and his posse). Any resistance to the absolute monarchy should be backed by extreme force in numbers or done secretly and subtly (preferably in a plot).
If your character charges in to the Pridelands and starts raising hell out of the blue, expect to be slaughtered by hyenas.

Please try to use African or African 'sounding' names, mind you, not all names have to be African, but for Prideland born lions this is highly preferable. You can find names in one of the many African languages (including Swahili, which is 'Simba' 'Nala' ect.) on baby naming sites and Google.
[/li][li] Lions may come in both 'pridelander' and 'outlander' body types, but at the moment the division does not truly exist, as the pride is still whole, though they do look different, feel free to mix these traits in any combination.
[/li][li] At the moment, the only species allowed are African predators (Lions, Hyenas, Dholes, Servals, Leopards, Cheetahs, Wild Dogs ect.) In the future prey species, such as meerkats and zebras ect. may be cleared for play, but for the moment we'll keep it simple.
[/li][li] Feel free to start your own groups, packs ect. but only lions can be apart of the Lion pride, and the current rulers will not take well to outsiders on their land. Rogue Lions or adolescents banished by Scar may also start their own prides with admin approval.
[/li][li] ABSOLUTELY no art thievery will be permitted, Any image taken from any art site such as TLKFAA or Deviant Art may *not* be used without the artist's permission.
If the art is a gift, template (which has been cleared for use), or the product of an art trade between you and someone else it may be acceptable.
[/li][li] When auditioning for canon characters, please try to maintain their basic personality as they were in the movies, or story books. Development and interpretation is one thing, but no one wants a kind, fun-loving, generous Scar running around.
